P&O Cruises announced the much anticipated godmother of the new sunshine ship Arvia yesterday. It is none other than global superstar, Nicole Scherzinger. She is a multi award-winning, multi platinum-selling singer, songwriter, dancer, actress and TV personality.
She is the first non-Brit to be given this duty. In an exciting partnership, the new godmother will be an entertainment partner of P&O Cruises. She will create incredible music and dance shows exclusively performed on P&O cruise ships.
On Thursday 16 March at 7pm GMT, Nicole Scherzinger will be singing live and will officially name Arvia in Barbados, at a beachside ceremony. It will be broadcasted to everyone around the world on the P&O Cruises YouTube channel. Tune in to watch a range of entertainment, including a unique performance from the Grammy-nominated Nicole, the godmother herself.
There will also be a prize draw for the chance to win one of five holidays. Watch it from the comfort of your own home with a cocktail in hand, of course.
Arvia is the latest addition to the P&O Cruises fleet. The ship offers a variety of luxurious amenities, including 13 restaurants and bars, a spa, gym, two pools, and an outdoor cinema. Arvia will also feature the world’s first onboard high ropes experience, Altitude Skywalk, and a swim-up bar. The ship will have capacity for 5,200 guests and will sail to a range of destinations, including the Caribbean, Mediterranean, and the Norwegian Fjords.
