MSC Virtuosa takes centre stage as the filming location for upcoming Channel 5 TV drama series, The Good Ship Murder. Premiering at 9 pm on Friday 13th October 2023, this Clapperboard production in collaboration with Fifth Season promises to enthrall viewers.
The intriguing mystery drama, set against the backdrop of MSC Cruises’ incredible ship, will feature the ship’s voyages from Southampton to sunnier Mediterranean locales. Each episode will unravel its mysteries in various destinations like Lisbon, Valencia, Barcelona, Le Havre, Valletta, among others.
The show casts Shayne Ward as Jack Grayling, a cruise ship singer turned detective, and Catherine Tyldesley as first officer Kate Woods. As they delve into enigmatic incidents aboard the ship, they traverse from the Carousel Lounge to the MSC Yacht Club. Claire Sweeney also graces the screen as the Entertainment Manager, Beverley Carnell.
