Don’t just dream, book!
Up and down the country Wanderlusters are being urged to turn armchair dreaming in a reality between 2-8 November. Take advantage of a variety of discounts and special offers as part of the new Holiday To Help Out campaign.
The joy of a holiday is exploring new destination, making new friends and embracing new cultures and cuisines. Holiday to Help Out has been designed to inspire travellers facing one of the darkest times of the year, and even darker now the clocks have turned back, to look forward to their next holiday, after all you deserve it! Many of us are experiencing tougher lockdown restrictions, so why not plan now and get something booked in your diary for next year.
Many suppliers and tour operators have paused all operations for the majority of the 2020 season through no fault of their own. Holiday To Help Out will see these wonderful companies release a raft of special discounts during the week of 2-8 November.
Suppliers taking part in the scheme range from Fred. Olsen Cruises Lines & Celebrity Cruises to many others including River Cruises and land based holidays. The idea is an initiative organised by travel media business TTG.
Sophie Griffiths, editor of TTG, said:
This industry has consistently been let down by the powers that be in Westminster so we decided to take matters into our own hands to shine some positivity on travel and try and kick-start the market by driving customers through agents’ doors.
Inspired by the chancellor’s Eat Out To Help Out scheme, we hope the Holiday To Help Out initiative will create similar excitement about travel and prompt customers to go and talk to their local travel agent about booking the holiday of their dreams.
We hope that this campaign will really create business opportunities for thousands of travel agents – professionals who know exactly where customers can travel to under varying restrictions; for example, there is no reason people cannot enjoy some winter sun in Cyprus, provided they can get a private Covid-19 test; agents will be there every step of the way for clients – as they always have been.
Holiday To Help Out will give everyone something to look forward to.
