Drawing inspiration from the rich heritage of beloved Disney tales, characters, and theme park wonders, the Disney Destiny, sibling to the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure, will be themed around “Heroes and Villains.” Undoubtedly, this theme will encourage guests to embrace their own journey while aboard each unforgettable voyage.
When developing the Disney Destiny, the Disney Cruise Line and Walt Disney Imagineering teams were inspired by the dynamic duality of every great Disney story… Where opposing forces of light and dark drive characters to rise to their purpose. Throughout the ship, guests will encounter a myriad of heroes and villains, including those from beloved Walt Disney Animation Studios classics like “The Lion King,” “Hercules,” and “One Hundred and One Dalmatians,” integrated seamlessly into the spaces, experiences, and entertainment offered during their journey.
To epitomise and embolden this theme, Disney has unveiled exquisite new filigree artwork adorning the bow of the Disney Destiny, continuing the cherished design tradition of Disney Cruise Line. Adorned in a bold new ensemble, complete with cape, she strikes a valiant pose, symbolising the spirit of adventure that awaits guests on their epic cruise holidays.
