Overview

Horizon Cruise Terminal, built in 2021, is Southampton's newest and most environmentally advanced cruise facility. Located in the Western Docks, it was developed through a partnership between Associated British Ports (ABP), MSC Cruises, and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings. The terminal is notable for its sustainable features, including over 2,000 roof-mounted solar panels and shore power connectivity, allowing docked ships to reduce emissions by switching off their engines.
