Like all Princess ships, Sun Princess is a MedallionClass ship helping families stay connected onboard via the OceanCompass shipmate locator and chat feature, along with MedallionNet, making it easy to share their experiences by posting photos and videos on social media.
Constructed at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy, the 175,500-tonne, 4,300-guest Sun Princess offers an array of 29 restaurants and bars, along with plenty of exciting entertainment, and activity offerings, as well as luxurious staterooms and suites across a broad spectrum of categories.
Sun Princess introduces two new Suite Categories; firstly, the Signature Collection suites offer exclusive amenities like a private restaurant, lounge, and sun deck, while the Reserve Collection suites provide access to a private sundeck, whirlpool, and a dedicated restaurant.Â
With the most balconies on any Princess ship, guests can take in the sunshine and crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean or Caribbean from the comfort of their cabin. The Dome, a transformational entertainment venue inspired by the terraces of Santorini, is the perfect place to relax and the three-storey Horizons Dining Room is sure to have everyone talking.
Sun Princess also features the most engaging family activity zone ever seen on a Princess cruise ship. Park19 made its debut aboard the new Sun Princess, when the first Sphere Class vessel launched in February 2024. Gratuities: To simplify the tipping process for our passengers, a discretionary gratuity charge will be automatically added to your shipboard account on a daily basis. The daily gratuity amounts are $16.50 per guest for suites, $15.50 per guest for mini-suites and club class, and $14.50 per guest for interior, oceanview, and balcony staterooms. This gratuity will be shared amongst those staff who have helped provide and support your cruise experience, including all waitstaff, stateroom stewards, buffet stewards, and housekeeping staff across the fleet.
