Cruise Covid Testing Requirements

Please note that cruise line policies may change throughout the season, and we shall endeavour to keep this page as up to date as possible, but the information below should be used as a guide only.

Cruise lines are continuing to adapt their protocols as international cruising resumes.

Please always check the latest advice by checking your pre-cruise planner/cruise documentation or speaking with your booking agent.

Please also refer to the Government website with regards to Travel abroad from England during coronavirus.

Cruise Line Requirements for boarding
Ambassador Cruise Line ►
• COVID-19 Vaccination Policy: It will be a requirement for all guests to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at least 14 days before sailing, subject to exemptions. Guests will also be subject to a COVID-19 test 72 hours before the sailing date. The situation will be under constant review with updates posted on Ambassador’s website.
• Testing before you cruise: Ambassador will require guests to have compulsory testing before they sail if this is still a requirement in April 2022.
• Temperature testing onboard: Temperature check systems will be installed in key areas onboard the ship and guests will be asked to check their temperature regularly.
• Face masks, social-distancing, and hand sanitation: Ambience is very spacious and therefore provides sufficient space for social distancing. If face masks are still recommended in communal areas (when cruise operations begin), Ambassador will adhere to this policy. Additional hand sanitising stations will be installed onboard the ship and at the cruise terminal.
